The Inside Scoop Other happenings in Mobetta's world Since moving to New York two years ago, Maurice has become a key player in the local music scene, expanding his network of music professionals, and working on mulitple collaboration projects. This year alone, he's put his hornification on over ten albums, for New York indie artists to world-famous, legendary artists. This month he's wrapping up a project producing up-and-coming saxophonist Chelsea Baratz's debut album, In Faith. We'll let you know when it drops--you'll definitely feel and hear the Mobetta touch. Maurice has also been working on composing Avant garde hip hop tracks for his Soul'd U Out album and for others. He recently licensed eight tracks to MTV. You can get a sneak peak at some of his faves on his My Space page. He switches out the listening selection periodically so be sure to bookmark his page and visit often. Hip to Bop II, The Cycle of Love, is the title of Maurice's next jazz project. You can hear live versions of some of the tunes at his music page.
