| Here's a review form the Urban Organic Festival...
...Crockett was in Detroit for the Urban Organic Weekend. When I interviewed her... I thought OK - she is a nice quiet, laid-back...
But, wow when Alison walked on stage to sing - girl friend morphed into this energetic Diva... Everyone that came after her, had step up their vocal game - cause she brought it.

May is here! I've been taking a well needed rest from performing and getting ready for the summer and enjoying the heat rising...ahh...I'm a warm weather kinda woman. Still working on the next record...we're looking at release in a bit so look out.
This month is a great time for hearing me intimately as I have a couple of gigs where it's just me and...well...me. I'm in my home(s) of NYC and the Washington, DC Area! So if you gotta minute...come on and check me out.
Keep your eyes open because I'll be around a little bit this summer as well. I've been doing quite a bit of recording this spring for some other artists around the world: UK, Italy, the US...I'm looking forward to hearing the outcome myself.
Stay blessed and restful.
With Much Love, Alison

Hola! Just a couple of pieces of news to bring you. First up we're pleased to announce news of a partnership between Amp and Behringer, the worlds' leading designer and manufacturer of audio visual equipment. If you missed Fusicology.com's best rated live event of the Miami Winter Music Conference (2mybeat.com and Roots present the Behringer "Just Listen" live sound stage), Behringer w/ the Kayz Agency bring Amp Fiddler to New York City on May 10th for a special performance on the newly installed Behringer "Just Listen" sound stage at Sullivan Room. This night is also the birthday of one of NYC's most talented producer/DJ's Master Kev. Master Kev along side Scott Wozniak (fellow Defected artist) will be joined by Filsonik of Objectivity for a very special set. These three music makers have never graced the decks as one until now, and for the first time they will be guiding us on their combined rhythmic journey. A night in that all with soul will assemble around diverse forms of funky house music, proving that all house is from the same drum. (show details and info/ticket link below). MORE TOUR DATES TO BE CONFIRMED May 10th - Behringer's "Just Listen' live sound stage @ The Sullivan Room, New York click for tickets May 23rd - Amp Fiddler plus special guests in a Motor City Jam @ Campus Martius Park, Detroit August 23rd - Beachdown Festival, Brighton, UK click for info & tickets
We're still recruiting people to Amp's street team network, so if you are interested in being a part of this, please drop us an email and let us know. Anything from online blog postings and event promo, helping give out stickers and flyers to your friends, holding Amp Fiddler listening parties, will all help to get Amp's music to more ears!! In return for your help we'll shower you with Amp goodies; exclusive MP3s, free promos, signed posters, tickets to shows and more! If this interests you, please drop us an email at info@ampfiddler.com
There are still a few copies left of the recent re-press of Amp's first ever album, produced by Amp and his brother Bubz back in 1990. 'Mr Fiddler - With Respect' is a great introduction to Amp's early sound and a fasincating insight to how his music has evolved since then. This CD is available exclusively through Amp's online store, along with copies of Amp's two other album releases Waltz Of A Ghetto Fly and Afro Strut as well as a Rare and Unreleased compilation CD.
Amp regularly checks into his online messageboard, so drop by and check it out if you ever get a chance. He also does regular 'question & answer' sessions on there, so if you ever wondered whats been his favourite live show, the music he listened to growing up, or his tip for the upcoming presidential elections, then head on over there. The messageboard is also a great place to meet other fans and share your experiences, photos and anything else you want to share. Click here for his messageboard
