June 6th at
The Vortex

The night began with Bianca Rose who, as the host for the evening, played one of her own songs before introducing the acts. First up was Lacey Adigwu who's emotional and honest acoustic songs, though not technically brilliant, certainly reached the audience. She was followed by cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson who certainly can't be faulted technically - her playing defies her young years and the night kicked into gear. Next was Andreya Triana, who is starting to make noise in the music industry and we were not disappointed as her mellow and mesmerizing performance proved she is someone to watch out for in 2009!

Enitan then took the stage and the change from acoustic to full band was completed as the musicians from The Lifeforce Band joined her. Her smooth soul/jazz songs sensitively led us into a set from Abdul Shyllon who's old school soul vocals conjoured up memories of the likes of Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke. His enigmatic songs brought the pace a little faster and you could almost sense the energy of the room build. Keeping the energy levels up was the next artist, Mellow Baku who used the limited room on stage to dance to her reggae-tinged jazz numbers. Then it was back with Ayanna who this time moved to the keyboard and did a couple of her songs with the full band and was joined by the horns.

The finale to this eclectic night was a performance by the aforementioned horns who form an integral part of the band Soothsayers. Joined by Mellow for action packed rhythms and melodies that had the room buzzing until the last note!

BURMA IN NEED

MORE BIO DETAIL:
Vanessa Hidary (player 1) borrows from her one-woman show that chronicles her life as a New York Jewish teen coming of age during the Golden Age of Hip-Hop, and her dedication to fostering the understanding and friendship between people of all races. Her candid story is told with humor, and will remind any audience member of their own youthful journey through insecurities, love-gone-awry, and struggles with identity. From Hip Hop Festivals to Synagogues Vanessa has traveled the world performing her works on diverse stages and varied audiences. She has recently began running Racism and Poetry workshops with B’nai Brith organization, and directed alumni of Birthright Israel Organization in a production of personal stories written about their first visit to Israel and Jewish identity, in a show called I.D.

Maya Azucena (player 2), a Brooklyn native of mixed heritage and hardknocks, tells her story through dynamic songs of life, faith and celebration. Maya Azucena comes across both as vulnerable and almost superhero-like in the portrayal of her songs, fusing genres of Soul, Hip Hop, and Folk. She represents survivors of all makes, and those that embrace their own power to overcome struggle. She just recently returned from a US State Department sponsored concert tour of Asia (Burma, China, Philippines and Sri Lanka) under THE RHYTHM ROAD: AMERICAN MUSIC ABROAD program. The goal of the tour was to promote cultural exchange within countries that have limited interaction with Americans.

Both women are forces to be reckoned with in their business, and have each felt compelled to cross the divides of culture and take on people of all backgrounds, finding common ground in individual souls.

Kashi Johnson (host) is an Equity actress, director, producer and Associate Professor of Theatre at Lehigh University in Beth! lehem, P A; where she teaches courses in acting, African American theatre and Hip Hop theatre. A native of New York City, acting credits include a wide range of classical, contemporary and self-produced theater roles.

Josana Blue (guest artist) is a painter, a clothing designer, and a life-long artist with a diverse range of gifts. She is a self-starter who has uniquely integrated her arts of music, fine art and design. Josana’s paintings display feminine lines and cool colors in sweeping abstract canvases. Her portraits of such artists as Jimi Hendrix are silk screened onto uniquely designed tee shirts. Her dress designs are playful and combine elegance with the bohemian.

The Zipper Factory is in fact a renovated Zipper factory that features theatrical productions in addition to a concert series. It's a superb 199 seat venue for performers and audiences - amazing sightlines, great sound, and unusually comfortable seats (most of the seats come straight out of automobiles!).

Tim Whitehead: tenor, soprano sax
Liam Noble: piano
Milo Fell: drums, percussion
Oli Hayhurst: double bass

Whitehead is one of the most creative, exciting and passionate saxophonists in Europe and also one of the finest small-group composers
Ian Carr, Jazz: The Rough Guide

Amid the crowd of anonymous, garrulous and hard-edged tenor saxophonists, Tim Whitehead's music is marked by a sense of grace and economy
Clive Davis, The Times

Whitehead glides ethereally into his phrases like a jazzier Jan Garbarek at times, although the playing is often stronger
John Fordham, The Guardian

Tim Whitehead is regarded as one of the finest jazz artists of his generation. He has been called ‘one of the best tenor players on the current British scene’, and his compositions are universally praised for their ‘grace, economy and passion’, combining rhapsodic melodies with bebop, soul, funk and Latin influences. Tonight, the fêted former Loose Tubes and Nucleus band member presents his Personal Standards Quartet, playing tunes from its recent release, Too Young To Go Steady.

Recorded live at Pizza Express Jazz Club in July 2007, and released last December, Too Young To Go Steady is the 47-minute first set in its entirety, and showcases characterful performances from Tim’s long-standing quartet. In Tim’s own words: ‘The playing captured in this live recording comes a step closer to the qualities I have been aiming at throughout my career: telling our stories, together, and revealing something of the moment in which we are playing with a real passion, dialogue, development and humour’.

In a career spanning 30-plus years, Tim has been involved in a variety of groundbreaking projects: from the anarchic big band Loose Tubes in the 1980s, to his ongoing collaborations with Colin Riley and The Homemade Orchestra. The Homemade Orchestra, led by Tim and Colin, and made up of classical and jazz musicians, was described in the Guardian as ‘intelligent, confident and accessible’; known for shaking up the way new music is conceived and presented, the ensemble’s live performances are, by turns, ‘tantalising, mischievous, anarchic and exquisite’.

Tim works in a variety of settings, in addition to his Personal Standards Quartet and The Homemade Orchestra: a trio with Kathleen Willison (described by Dave Gelly in The Observer as ‘an amazingly gifted young singer. At times, she puts me in mind of the young Norma Winstone’) and pianist Gwilym Simcock; Tim Whitehead Trio, with Milo Fell and Oli Hayhurst, features music written for Tim’s daughter’s Laban graduation choreography entitled When She Saw Him, plus arrangements of English folk tunes; Tim Whitehead/Tony Woods Quartet, with Milo Fell and Oli Hayhurst, features pieces by the two leaders, plus standards; Nine Sketches of England for Solo Saxophone is Tim accompanied by ambient sounds. Originally a 1996 London Jazz Festival commission, Nine Sketches features a dialogue with a dog, a verbal battle with security guards outside the Stock Exchange, and unprintable Scouse jokes; and Way Out West Allstars, mainstays of the popular West London-based musicians’ collective.

Tim is also a respected educator and committed activist within the field of jazz. For the last three years, he has been developing an approach to improvisation, entitled What’s Your Story? Between Friday 3 and Monday 6 October this year, Tim hosts What’s Your Story? Part 2, a residential workshop in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. Fellow tutors include Tony Woods, Milo Fell, Liam Noble and Oli Hayhurst.

From Sharon Counts re: Mika Cole and Darrius Willrich

Hey Everyone!

Please join me in congratulating both my client’s Mika Cole and Darrius Willrich on their recent Los Angeles Music Award Nominations. Mika (www.myspace.com/mikacole) is nominated in the category of “Female Singer Songwriter of the Year,” and Darrius (www.myspace.com/darriuswillrich) is nominated in the category of “Soul R&B Single of the Year,” for his song “Can’t Get Enough,” which is the title track of his soon to be released CD.
Now in its 18th year, the Los Angeles Music Awards are for Indie artists what the Grammy Awards are to established artists - a really big deal. The LAMA’s are a red carpeted, invitation only, awards ceremony, that afford indie artists lots of valuable exposure. Past LAMA participants include No Doubt, Korn, and the Black Eyed Peas just to name a few. This year’s awards ceremony takes place November 20th at the Henry J. Fonda theatre in Hollywood.
Each year, in association with the awards, LAMA hosts a series of showcases aimed at giving its nominees additional exposure. Mika performed to rave reviews on May 27th. Darrius performs July 22nd.
Speaking of Darrius, if you happen to be in the Seattle area during the month of August, don’t be surprised if you hear “Can’t Get Enough,” as Darrius will be apart of “Seattle onHold.” SoH is a partnership between Seattle musicians and composers, the Mayor's Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, and the Department of Information Technology. Seattle onHold plays the music of some of Seattle's best artists on the city phone system and website.
Lastly, check out this month's June edition of Music Connection magazine. On page 53, there’s a really nice write up on Mika. The magazine is available at all Borders Books, 7- Elevens, and local newsstands. You can also read the review online at www.musicconnection.com
As always, thanks for your support of both me and my artists!

Thoughts become things... One thought in new york with friends manifested into one summer night in Paris where Music, Love, Inspiration, Blessings and sharing will all meet at the Opus Cafe! 3 July.

I have been blessed with a great opportunity to play the opening spot for one of my favorite artists Frank Mccomb. If you dont know who he is, please google him or visit him on myspace to see and hear this man's incredible story and journey.

I also am happy to take some guidance and release my own boot leg at this concert! special bonus included on the album as a treat and gift from me to all of you.

Also the recording of the soul album will be under way next week, bringing everyone closer to having it in their hands or their computer from getting it online.

I thank all my friends and spiritual family for helping me encouraging me and sharing in bringing all of these things to fruition.

The final destination is not the most important thing its what you do and how you feel on the way...
See you there thursday night the 3rd of July!

ss mix
Strictly Social has emerged as one of the Los Angeles soul scene's most significant new monthly events thanks to a commitment to the concept of "Eclectic Soul Fusion." Resident DJ and founder DJ Destroyer has been working diligently to fuse many styles of soul music into one cohesive night and with Strictly Social he has succeeded. Out of the desire to spread the Strictly Social sound even further, this first exclusive mix was born. The Strictly Social mix recreates the vibe found at the event itself by championing both established and new artists in genres such as neo-soul, progressive hip-hop, and soulful electronica. Acclaimed artists such as Jill Scott, Raheem DeVaughn, Eric Roberson, and Amp Fiddler share the spotlight with up and comers like Rogiers, Jon Bibbs, Jimi James, and Michelle Amador. Mixed live in one take, the Strictly Social mix will give you a taste of what this very special event is all about.

Nu-Soul bridges the gap between the world of R&B/soul and the underground vibes of electronica, the common factor being a grounding in funk, soul and urban lifestyle. This is a place where the sounds of neo-soul, drum and bass, deep house and breakbeat are a part of the same family. Through fascinating articles, engaging interviews, and the latest reviews, Nu-Soul hopes to open minds to the incredible array of soul influenced music available today.

(Jazz/Funk)

Click Here to get more info about Global Noize This is flat out the best release that I have heard to this point in 2008. And it will forever occupy a permanent spot on the shelf where my musical collection is kept. I will return to this album over and over again till I am no longer able to. I suppose that using the notion of an album review is just as good a place as any other to explain exactly why that is.

Most of the time when I am listening to music, I do so as a part of the 'soundtrack of my life". That is to say that the music is playing, but listening to the music is not the primary activity. The music is secondary, but it enhances whatever activity that I am currently engaged in (the primary activity.) However there are times when I am listening to music I am not interested in it as part of the "soundtrack of my life." I am listening at that moment specifically with the intention and desire to have "my mind blown." I am listening in order to help facilitate an escape from whatever my current reality is. I am trying to change something that is in my life and having "my mind blown" is a mechanism that I can use to often clear out the cobwebs inside of my brain and help me to obtain a different perspective on life.

There is a relatively small group are artists that I will typically turn to at those times when need to hear life altering music. Artists that fall into this category for me are names like Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Weather Report, Return To Forever, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Sly & the Family Stone, Mandrill, Chuck Berry, Passport, Sun Ra, Kool & the Gang, EWF and a few others. There is a kind of spirituality for me that lurks not far from the surface of the instruments of this music that has a healthy effect on my mind, body and soul. This impact is difficult for me to put into words, however it is a very real thing despite just how intangible it may be. It has nothing to do with lyrics, its totally about the music and it's power to rejuvenate thought processes within myself that lay dormant. It also has nothing to do with activities that involve other people. It is however all about a what seems to be a personal relationship or a bond that forms between myself and musicians that I have never met and are unlikely to ever meet. And for me it's really all about that kind of experience and need to recreate it that draws me back to the music of those artists during times when I need to use music to help me to look within myself for the assistance that I need to answer questions that aren't obvious.

The album "Global Noize" by Jason Miles & DJ Logic and an all star cast of great instrumentalists - Meshell Ndegeocello, Billy Martin (Medeski, Marin & Wood) , Vernon Reid (Living Colour), John Popper (Blues Traveler) Cyro Baptista (Herbie Hancock), Bernie Worrell (Talking Heads, Parliament Funk), Karl Denson (Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Lenny Kravtiz), Christian Scott & Others is exactly that kind of an album. Within the first 30 seconds of hearing the very first track on the album, I knew that this was going to be one of those kind of albums that would stay with me for a lifetime. It will make you dance, be still, yell, be silent, laugh, cry, think and become numb all at the same time. It makes you feel like you are a citizen of the world and makes you feel all alone at the same time. This is the type of music that has served me well during multiple phases of my own life, ever since I have been a teenager. And continues to serve me well today, long after my memories of the specifics of when I was a teenager have long since faded from my memory.

Global Noize isn't the kind of an album that you even care about individual tracks/songs. The album itself is a complete and non stop experience in the type of "escapism" (as per James Brown) that allows you to become immersed in an external world of pure audio delight of 100 percent BLACK MUSIC that helps in bringing you closer to your own thoughts and emotions. The music itself is a near perfect blend of all of the various types of instrumental music that I personally like (jazz, funk, rock, world) blended in such a manner that it actually has no genre to speak of whatsoever except to call it "human."

Albums like this allow me to clean out all of the thoughts in my mind that are preventing me from thinking about the things that I need to be thinking about and moving forward with positive action. And even at my own advanced age, anything that brings additional clarity to my thinking and behavior is certainly a most welcome addition to my musical library.

In short, the album "Global Noize" offers a kind of "clarity in thinking" to the listener, that for me is achieved by just a small number of artists that I have listened to over the years. This is extremely personal listening and at a price tag that is a whole lot cheaper than an hour of therapy. It's not the kind of an album that you need to listen to every day, but it is the kind of album that when you need to unleash it's power, you need to have it on the shelf, even if you don't think that you would ever need this type of therapy.

And that is why for my money (and yours as well) "Global Noize" by Jason Miles & DJ Logic is the best album that I have heard thus far in the year 2008.

All I got to say for the moment is that yall who claim to be down wit da FUNK had betta not go to sleep this year. Cuz this is the year that yall have been waiting for.

For the second week in a row I have had my...

FUNK
CLOCK
CLEANED

You know that feeling when you go to a show and you can still hear the music from the show, playing inside of your head the next day...... (and there are NO DRUGS INVOLVED?????)

YUP....right now the music of GLOBAL NOIZE is STILL BANGING AROUND IN MY HEAD nearly TWELVE HOURS LATER.

Ok, I know that yall have never heard of GLOBAL NOIZE.
However you may remember that I told you that GLOBAL NOIZE was.... THE BEST ALBUM I HAVE HEARD THUS FAR THIS YEAR!!!!!!!

And that was based on me listening to a CD-R I got from the record label a month or so ago. All it took was a single listen for me to come to that conclusion. And to IMMEDIATELY add several tracks from the album to NuSoul @ RadioIO.com http://www.radioio.com/channels/nusoul

Here is how Shanachie described it in their press release....

"Jason Miles & DJ Logic Join Forces to Obliterate Musical Borders on New Shanachie CD Global Noize:

All-Star CD Serves Up An Intoxicating Brew of Jazz, Electronica Funk and World Music Featuring Some of Music's Most Creative Players: Meshell Ndegeocello, Billy Martin (Medeski, Marin & Wood) , Vernon Reid (Living Colour), John Popper (Blues Traveler) Cyro Baptista (Herbie Hancock), Bernie Worrell (Talking Heads, Parliament Funk), Karl Denson (Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Lenny Kravtiz), Christian Scott & Others"

Let me tell yall...

As exciting as that may sound....

:::THAT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE CD::::

AND
THE CD IS NOTHING
COMPARED TO THE SHOW

Last night I got to witness this SPECTACULAR CONFIGURATION IN PERSON

IT WAS AN AUDIO & VISUAL EXPERIENCE THAT IS HARD TO DESCRIBE

>From an audio perspective it was like having...

The Miles Davis Band / Weather Report / P-Funk / Return to Forever / Antonio Carlos Jobim / Eddie Harris & Les McCann / Temptations / Passport / Tower of Power / Mahavishnu Orchestra / Lonnie Liston Smith / DJ Kool Herc

ALL ON STAGE AT THE SAME TIME

All under the direction of Jason Miles and DJ Logic

Click Here to get more info about Global Noize From a visual perspective it was kinda like being at that MONSTER CONCERT that you always imagined taking place at THE FOOT OF THE PYRAMIDS or perhaps inside of a BROTHEL/OPIUM DEN IN MARRAKECH, MOROCCO, just chillin out & relaxin on one of those "flying carpets, hovering six inches off the ground, while you soak it all in"

Here you had Jason Miles and DJ Logic up front "conducting things" on synthesizer/keyboards & turntables respectively. Then in the back you had Bernie Worrell in full PURPLE "sun ra esque wizard of woo" funk regalia, tiny Meshell Ndegeocello dressed in black literally hiding and almost out of sight thumpin away on the bass, cool as a cucumber Christian Scott with the shades strategically balanced on top of his head, and then flippin the shades down over his eyes as he pulls up to the microphone and buries the microphone inside of the swept up Dizzy Gillespie style trumpet he used last night. Add to this singers from India, scantily clad belly dancers from Morocco doing an incredible spiritual/erotic "sword balancing" dance. This show was also a feast for the eyes as well!!!

Could I write more about this????

Well maybe, but I'm not going to right now.
I really can't
That's cuz it's all kinda like basking in a type of an indescribable "glow". The "glow" isn't finished yet. And I don't wanna do too much right now that might cause it to come to an end any sooner than it needs to.

You wanna know how good this show was????

There were at least two other Soul-Patrollers in the house last night @ Highline Ballroom that I observed...

**Dr Brookenstien - he spent the night dancing all over the club and when I tried to speak with him at various points during the evening, he was mumbling to himself. (it will be interesting to see what he has to say about the show)

**Randall Grass - was pounding away on the table during the entire show, just like it was a set of congas

Of course Randall is biased....LOL

But Brookenstien isn't and he was still mumbling to himself after the show was over, just as I'm certain almost everyone else who was there last night was as well, just like I am this morning. http://www.myspace.com/globalnoizejazz

Take a moment and watch the new Lalah Hathaway video "LET GO".
Reminds me of Chicago in the spring time. Only one question "Where was George Daniels?" How did he miss not being in a video that shows off GREAT steppin moves?
Lalah Hataway is a fantastic vocalist with good range and crystal clear notes.
THE CHANGE OF LIFE
Allen Johnston
Strange as I grow older I see things in a much different light. Recently I have noticed that the days of smoking a joint, bobbing your head and just making "beats" has passed. There's a new day where as an artist you must learn to manage your money, book your own shows, promote yourself and your music and stop getting "high" everyday.

The price of gas has help fuel a runaway economy and with this run away economy comes some very stark realities. FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, TRANSPORTATION, TAKING CARE OF YOUR FAMILY all come before smoking a joint, bobbing your head and just making "beats". Today you need more than one paycheck to keep your household running and even the DOPE game has changed. When was the last time you saw a really wealthy person that wasn't an athlete and only had ONE job? Hustlers have had to diversify in order to continue their lavish lifestyle. I have watched real "PIMPS" unionize just so they can learn how to make additional income once their women / men get to old to run the track.

There will always be individuals that "floss" and throw money (making it rain) at strippers, buy lavish cars and houses for show, but are ducking the repo man on a regular basis. Look around you and you will see for yourself. In fact first check the mirror before you start talking about other people.

There is a way for artists to avoid the new reality and that is by having some type of education. The educated artist uses the web for several different reasons. But before they can use the web a person must know how to spell correctly and type with some speed. This past weekend I went to the graduation day exercises of my god son in Atlanta Georgia. This child was placed into an experimental school in 6th grade and stayed within this school until the end of his high school term. The graduating class of 2008 had 1,100 scholarships totaling 23.4 million dollars. These scholarships were academic ($11 Million), musical ($7 Million) and athletic ($5 Million) showing the community that learning pays off BIG. You can believe that these children are ALL computer literate and totally web savvy.

Promote online

Successful artists are using the web to promote not only their music, but also their fan base. This is helping to perpetuate their musical careers by allowing the core audience to have direct access to music, merchandise, show information and personal knowledge about the artist. While in Europe this past spring I was introduced to an online community that financially supports new & up coming artists. Fans make contributions to the artists "war chest" and once this chest reaches $50,000 USD the act is taken into a studio, produced and marketed worldwide. This concept shows me the strength and efficiency of the web when used creatively.

Sell Online

This is really a no brainier for most people that are truly concerned with their entertainment industry career. The online model for sales has blossomed to include physical merchandise, music, movies, goods and also entertainment oriented services. One of the biggest services offered today online is the publicity / marketing service. Literally thousands of people are now claiming to be publicists or online marketers just because they have a mailing list, which is not always confirmed.

Online physical sales of entertainment related merchandise has created "Fulfillment Centers". Places where your merchandise is housed, picked, packed, processed and shipped to your consumer ALL for a nominal fee. Some of these very same centers also have massive phone banks that can receive sales calls, customer service calls and shipping requests, again for a nominal fee. Check your local listings to find one in your area.

Learning why you compose music can make such a difference in the sound that you construct. Dedicating ones self to the pursuit of knowledge, truth and morally can lengthen your life and increase your revenue. There is an old saying "When things get tough, the tough get going".

CELLPHONES, EDUCATION AND YOU
ALLEN JOHNSTON

Traveling internationally has opened my eyes and mind to the opportunities available for people of color worldwide. In particular are the opportunities available for African-American musicians and multi-media creators worldwide. What I have found is that EVEYONE aspires to have the American notoriety and success that is witnessed in the magazines, movies, and videos worldwide. People want to "BE LIKE MIKE" worldwide and Mike is the African-American celebrity .

As you know I am a proponent of education and I truly believe that African-Americans have a commitment to help educate and protect Africans worldwide. Let's talk about the state of the Black music business within the United Sates today. Discretionary income controlled by African-Americans rose to more than $20 billon last year. Even though this seems like a humongous amount of money it pales in comparison to the fact that Shell Oil posted profits in the UK alone of 13.6 Billion Pounds or $30 Billion dollars this year. This is only one company in one country that significantly affects people of color worldwide.

Believe that this 30 Billion dollar profit will not be used to educate or protect people worldwide. So the question to me becomes how we can effectively affect the education of people of color worldwide. One way is the creation of music and multi-media projects that contain "Old-School" Values and Morals, never using filthy language, sexually based & tasteless innuendoes, sharp, ruthless or condemnatory statements or nonsense verbiage. But having a message or under current that causes renewed thought, interest, incite or unrest within the hearts & souls of its listeners!

Accessibility and affordability are the key factors in being able to reach large masses of people worldwide. The Internet is the medium of choice and opportunity to accomplish these goals. For the developing world the Internet is going to be a wireless experience and delivery will be over cell phones. Sixty one percent (61%) of the world's 2.7 billion mobile phone users are in developing countries compared with ten percent (10%) of the world's 1 billion Internet users. This information is based on the International Telecommunication Union's Regulatory and Market Environment Division head Susan Schorr's report. Africa accounts for more than half of the world's poorest countries with people using low-cost cell phones rather than PC's for connectivity.

India has a cell phone subscriber ship of over 226 million about nineteen percent (19%) of its total population with about 7 million new subscribers a month. This is creating a decline in the cost of cell phone manufacturing making them more affordable and also creating unbundled services lowering the costs of phone service. Approximately eighty five percent (85%) of all Indian cell phone contracts are prepaid, while in Africa shared cell phone services are taking off.

The Grameen Foundation has brought the Village Phone model to Africa. People wanting to become stand alone mobile phone operators can take out micro loans, letting them buy Village Phone kits that include a cell phone, a rooftop antenna that picks up signals 25 kilometers away and a car battery or solar panel for recharging. They setup shop in their homes, selling phone calls and mobile data transfer to other villagers. Ultimately allowing the world to invade the "outback" and the opportunity to place information directly with the people that need it the most.

Cellphone based Internet delivery bypasses the governmental media controls and is a viable alternative information source. Just recently there was great unrest in Kenya and the Kenyan government imposed a blackout of ALL news sources. Resourceful Kenyans started text messaging information to the Mashada website and got the world to see the problems while being able to maintain contact with different villages and families.

As a producer, writer, musician, film maker, artist or educator this now opens up an entirely new avenue to get your projects, products and ideas to an interested world market. Cellphones and other wireless devices will continue to get more people connected to the Internet or at least give them access to a wealth of information, knowledge and communications capabilities that previously were out of reach.

The only thing missing is you and what you have to share with the world.
